My name is Linda Sue Flowers Reynolds and I was born and raised right here in Bossier City, LA.
My mother was from St. Louis, MO.
My father was from Crowville, LA.
He retired from the Air Force after 20 years and then went to work General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas for a few years.
When he left General Dynamics he went to work for the postal service, training new postal employees in Norman, Oklahoma where he resided until his death in 2000.
I am the mother of 5 girls, grandmother of 8 grandkids, (3 boys and 5 girls) and 2 great-grandbaby (girl and a boy)
I came from a large family of 10 kids. 7 boys and 3 girls. That was an adventure and I loved being raised in a big family.
I started researching my family history in 1983 after attending a cousin's funeral in Crowville, LA.
My father and I use to do a little traveling to Crowville, LA and Mississippi in search of family records.
My father passed away in June of 2000 and I haven't done much traveling since then.
My mother and I use to do quite a bit of research and we worked together for a while in the Morman Genealogy Library.
When my mother became very sick our "Family Research" kind of came to a halt.
She passed away in January 2017. Mama was a beautiful lady inside and outside and she is greatly missed.
